Both the Charlton Hall and Pronovias brands exude luxury in every detail, which gave us creative space to loosen up and have fun with the shots, resulting in a truly iconic set of images which show the two off beautifully.
This creative shoot was featured in Issue 09 of UNVEILED.
Based in the beautiful city of York, I photograph incredible weddings all across the North of England. I am a huge wedding enthusiast and I bring that love to every wedding I capture. With a pocket full of creativity and a friendly approach, my mission is to document the real moments that mean the world to you. I describe my style as modern, creative, personal and fun!
Charlton Hall set the perfect scene for this upbeat, creative shoot. Each room I walked into instantly became my new favourite. What is not to love about that bonkers wallpaper? The colours in this shoot ticked all my boxes and I loved being creative in how I worked with it.
The highlight for me was working with such a talented team, we had a blast! When you come together with a powerhouse of creative women and you get to bounce of each other, it really is such good fun and a true pleasure. I am totally in love with these images.
Charlton Hall is set within an exclusive 150-acre estate in Northumberland, with 360 degree views of uninterrupted countryside looking out towards the coast at Beadnell Bay. Whilst Charlton Hall has traditional Georgian architecture from the 18th Century, as you step inside, the exquisite interior design by Jeffrey’s Interiors of Edinburgh, will take you by surprise with its contemporary design that mixes bold colour schemes and huge light installations with taxidermy and playful prints on mismatching fabrics.
Charlton Hall is designed for entertaining and will appeal to brides and grooms looking to marry in a funky and alternative house that speaks volumes about style.
What sets Charlton Hall apart from others is its bold approach towards delivering a wedding venue with a difference. Stepping away from the norm of traditional venues, Charlton has a home-from-home feel where no detail has been overlooked and no expense spared with the decor. The level of service and dining matches this, to create the best wedding experience possible.
We promise a sensational experience at Mia Sposa Bridal, delivering a caring and personal approach, pure freedom and total satisfaction to brides on their wedding dress journey. We are a fabulous team with a broad range of skills to ensure our brides get the service they truly deserve.
As a premium stockist of Pronovias – one of only a handful in the North East – we chose to showcase designs from the new 2018 collection in this shoot. We are very honoured to have this fabulous designer in our boutique as the quality and artistry of the gowns is sensational. The latest Pronovias collection is a mix of beautiful Bellagio crepe, Mikado, tulle and delicate lace fabrics all combined and styled to enhance the female form to its best.
Charlton Hall is a breath-taking venue with a real quirky edge, for the fashion forward bride who has an assurance of her style – the Pronovias gowns worked so well against this unique backdrop.
We are an innovative and creative floral design team based in North Yorkshire specialising in exquisite wedding flowers and stunning venue styling.
We have been following the amazing transformation of the fabulous Charlton Hall on Instagram since it began and were absolutely thrilled to work with UNVEILED on this beautiful shoot. The unique decor of this stunning venue called for equally unique styling, which we delivered through a bold green bouquet and leafy green boa.
Becca Hunton, Hair & Makeup
I specialise in bridal hair and makeup, creating beautifully bespoke look that leave brides feeling fabulous for that most important day.
I loved this shoot! It was fun, quirky and not too serious, which reflected in the hair and makeup. In my head I was thinking an almost cartoony, pop inspired style so I wanted big hair and full-on-glam lashes!
I prepped the hair with volume mousse, then used a large barrel tong by Barnham to form the curls.
To give some extra lift, I added L’Oreal TechniArt Super Dust at the roots (backcombing in a pot!).
Bright, hot pink lips went perfectly with the big hair and Eldora double layered lashes. To complete the look, I lightly smoked out the eyes using the Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette.
