Nestled in the heart of Hutton Wandesley Estate, a 3000 acre private estate just seven miles west of York, the stunningly renovated Hutton Wandesley Stables & Walled Garden awaits those looking for a unique and beautiful setting for their big day.

The original Victorian buildings have been artfully developed to create a brand new wedding venue of the highest standard, offering everything you need for your dream celebration. The team at Hutton Wandesley Stables believe that every wedding should be the most special day of a couple’s lives and offer a personalised service with exceptional facilities.

The walled garden, which is licensed for ceremonies, offers two and a half acres of mesmerizing beauty with a greenhouse, the old glasshouse barn, a cutting garden gazebo, and a rose-clad arbour, perfect for your “I do” moments.

A private cobbled courtyard connects the stables to the light-filled event barn, ‘Botanicum’, which seats 120 guests and has a fully stocked bar run by Fusion Events. The terrace outside the barn overlooks the walled garden via large bi-folding doors and is the ideal spot for al fresco drinks receptions.

The Stables itself provides accommodation for 18 people in nine ensuite bedrooms, with a large kitchen and dining area for 22 guests, a tack room bar and pool table. Just moments away, Laundry Cottage offers the wedding couple their own private accommodation, with a dressing room for the bridal party to get ready for the big day together.
