Stunning 18th century Bank Barn, which has been sympathetically converted, provides the perfect space for both wedding receptions and ceremonies. The Medieval hall and the garden pavilion provide alternative options for smaller, mid-week and outdoor weddings, there is even a Gypsy Caravan for couples to sign the register. All set amid stunning 12 acre grade II gardens with uninterrupted views of the River Lowther and surrounding countryside, and with exquisite food and plenty of accommodation on site and nearby.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies throughout.
St. Peters Church, Askham is located a stone’s throw from the venue. A romantic walk takes you from the church through the gardens and onto the wedding barn. Thirteenth century St. Michael’s Church with its strong family connections, overlooking Askham Hall and with views of Lowther Castle, is also close by.
