A real jewel of a country house wedding venue, located a short distance from Harrogate and York, it sits within approx. 80 acres of private land, with panoramic views of natural open beauty.
Howsham Hall happens to have the most spectacular Bridal Suite, which is one of the largest in Europe!! This amazing suite features its own private sitting room with larger lounge area, ideal for the bridal morning preparations.
The ceremony is the centerpiece of your wedding day! Our Great Hall, with its tasteful décor and chandelier lighting, is a truly romantic setting for the ceremony. Once the ‘I Do’s’ are done, it’s onto the celebrations! The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the majestic building for photographs. Guests can also mingle and chat, making use of the light filled Staircase Hall. No Celebration is complete without food and drink! Your guests will be blown away by The Drawing Room as your Wedding Breakfast setting, it is truly spectacular! As wedding packages don’t exist, your celebration is as individual as you as a couple. The food and drink you decide to have for your Wedding Day has been carefully curated by our team of award winning chefs.
When it is party time, Howsham Hall has its very own evening bar and dance floor wing! Guests can enjoy a cocktail with a view! Once your booking of Howsham Hall is confirmed, you’ll be introduced to your Event Manager.

A day we will never forget - Howsham Hall was the venue we chose for our wedding in July. From our initial viewing we were so impressed, not only by how magnificent the Hall was, but also by the professionalism of everyone we met from Dine. As well as ensuring everything on our wedding day ran seamlessly, the catering and hospitality the Dine team offered was second to none. Fantastic wedding venue - Howsham Hall was a brilliant venue for our wedding. We arrived in the morning and felt like guests ourselves, relaxed in the knowledge that Craig, Tim and their team had absolutely everything under control. The drinks were great, accommodating for our preference of ale over lager! Food service brilliant, all dietary requirements accounted for efficiently and guests commented on how good the food was. We partied until late and really enjoyed having the venue to ourselves with 12 bedrooms!F Studdart
