Founded in 2009, Shades work throughout the UK supplying fine sailcloth marquees, stretch tents and bell tents for weddings, parties & celebrations. Over the years, we have established a great reputation for our high quality tents, complemented with a beautiful range of furniture, lighting & accessories.
We are based in Leeds but work across the country and are renowned for our high quality, immaculate tents, backed up with great service and a reliable team. We are known for our service and event management experience. Our team provide on-the-day support which allows us to oversee the marquee itself, removing or lifting walls & windows, ensuring everything is perfect for you. We’re a friendly bunch, and we regularly assist with any other venue related tasks, such as power distribution, loos, supplier access etc.

I was drawn to shades because they thought about every single detail when designing their tents. Stiletto heels – no problem!
They use heavy-duty & sturdy flooring! A windy day- no problem! Their tents are constructed to perfection built to withstand every weather condition! Uneven flooring? Not a problem – the team are professionals!
The quality of the tent was brilliant, the team who construct the tent were all fast-paced yet meticulous, they were friendly, helpful & a lovely group of people to work alongside. They helped with some decorations at high level & moving tables.
When you deal with a company you expect a certain level of service & Shades blew my expectations out of the water, very professional, polite & kept me up to date with timings, construction dates and takedown.

Wow... this was the words of the majority of our guests when they walked into such an amazing marquee! Shades offered a marquee with a difference which is why we decided to book them and we don't have one regret! The team offer such an amazing service and we can't begin to thank them enough! We had a very heavy downpour on our wedding day and David was truly amazing, he made sure everything was as it should be and we were oblivious of the whole thing. Myself and Jason have nothing but praise for everybody we came in contact with from the initial phone call, where I must have fired a thousand questions at Dave! Right up to the final hour. Nothing was ever too much hassle and emails and phone calls were answered very quickly. It was so reassuring having someone on hand all day knowing there would be that support. Nothing was ever too much trouble!
We shopped around for a long time to find the perfect set up and as soon as I had decided on an aurora tent, I started researching companies who provided them. I had a great feeling about shades from the get go and they certainly made our day perfect.
