Hello, I’m Jane, a UK and destination wedding photographer from Otley, I love to tell beautiful love stories in a fine art reportage style.
Each wedding day is unique and full of memorable moments, beautiful details and secret glances and I try to capture every special moment in an unobtrusive way. I want my photos to evoke the same emotions, the smiles, tears and laughter that made your wedding day so special.

From the moment we found Jane and her photography, we knew she was perfect for us. We immediately stopped our search for a photographer and booked her for our wedding photography around 18 months before our wedding day! It was an added bonus when we found out about her gorgeous stationery so we also used her for our beautiful wedding invitations. She really helped to turn our ‘vision’ into reality and we had the most gorgeous, elegant wedding invitations. It was so reassuring to know that she understood what we wanted even when we didn’t really know what we wanted!
Approaching the wedding, it was an absolute joy to meet with her and she was so helpful and patient with our last minute requests and questions! Her calm, kind approach and organisation comforted us and we knew were in very safe hands.
On the day itself, Jane was absolutely brilliant. So many of our guests commented on how respectful and friendly she was. She simply ‘fitted in’ without being remotely intrusive.
The wedding photos turned out beyond expectation and I know the photos of our day will be treasured by us and our families forever. They are a beautiful reminder of the best day of our lives and we will be eternally grateful to Jane for being able to have such stunning memories of the day. So many small details were captured, and we know the natural fine art style of photographs will stand the test of time.
Whilst we do not miss the stress of planning the wedding, we certainly will miss working with Jane and would not hesitate to recommend her and her work to anyone. Working with her from the very first email exchange, to the wedding day and to creating wedding albums was a pleasure.

We have spent a few hours today looking again at the photographs. They are incredible. You have an amazing talent and have managed to capture not only the images but also the emotion of our day. Everyone who has seen the pictures so far has absolutely raved about them – ’stunning’, ‘amazing’, ‘a triumph’. We are thrilled with the results. The photographs have allowed us to relive all of the highlights of our day and even shown us little details that we missed. Things like the pictures of the rings and shoes – what seem like tiny details turned into beautiful images. They seem more like mini works of art than wedding photographs.
Neither of us like having our photograph taken but you managed not only to put us at ease but also take by far the best photographs we have ever seen of us. All our guests commented on how lovely you were and how you were very unobtrusive as you went about taking such great shots. One guest described you as the photography ninja – you seemed to manage to be everywhere at once without anyone noticing you moving about. That is quite a skill!
Our wedding was a very small affair done on a small budget and we were a little worried about spending what initially seemed like quite a lot of that budget on photography. It was absolutely the right decision and money very well spent. We now have the best possible memento of our day, which we will enjoy with our family for many years to come. We are quite simply delighted that we chose you to document our wedding day and we will recommend you to everyone we know without hesitation.
