Based in Micklefield, Miss Helen’s makes delicious handmade classic and creative wedding cakes and dessert tables from her home kitchen. Every aspect of Miss Helen’s cakes is made from scratch, using the freshest, best quality ingredients, to give your wedding the wow factor in taste as well as in aesthetics.
Helen’s was founded in 2020 by Helen James, specialising in bespoke wedding cakes and dessert tables, in classic and abstract styles. She works predominantly with buttercream and ganache, giving the highest quality finish on your perfect cake, which will taste even better than it looks! Not content with just creating impactful cakes, Helen loves to make dessert tables, hand made for your special day including all your personal favourite sweet treats – you name it, she’ll make it, and if it’s not currently in her repertoire, you can bet it will be for your wedding day.
Helen is incredibly passionate about wedding cakes and aims for perfection in everything she does. It is her passion to make your whole wedding cake journey as easy and enjoyable as possible, from your initial enquiry to your wedding day. Miss Helen’s has been a finalist in the North of England Wedding Awards, and Helen is extremely proud to have had her work featured in online wedding magazines, including Rock n Roll Bride, Brides Up North and Yorkshire Brides.
